"My teacher training placement in Ireland was truly unforgettable. From day one, I was welcomed with open arms by everyone at the school – the staff were incredibly supportive, friendly and eager to help me learn and grow.
I began my placement as a teaching assistant, which was a great way to ease into the classroom environment. Before long, I had the chance to lead some lessons myself, which was both exciting and rewarding. It was amazing to put my training into practice and gain real hands-on experience.
Living with a host family was another highlight of my stay. They were absolutely wonderful – so warm, welcoming, and generous. They made me feel completely at home and gave me a true insight into Irish life and culture.
Another big benefit was how much my English improved during my time there. Being surrounded by native speakers every day, both at school and with my host family, helped me gain confidence and fluency in a natural and enjoyable way.
